WHHO, two new members approved
The
Woodland Hills Homeowners Organization (WHHO) has approved two new board
members, Scott Silverstein and Colleen Schwab, at their December 13 meeting.
Schwab, a Woodland Hills resident for over 42 years, has played a significant
role in local schools, advocating for protecting LAUSD properties in Woodland
Hills neighborhoods. She received over 1,700 signatures on WHHO's petition to
Save Our Schools when LAUSD operations threatened to put them out for bids.
Silverstein, a long-time resident and leading commercial broker in the West
Valley, has served as the President of the Woodland Hills-Warner Center
Neighborhood Council and has been a leader in revitalizing Ventura Blvd. They
will be officially inducted onto the board during the January WHHO meeting,
where Councilman Bob Blumenfield will swear them in.
